Legacy Restaurant & Grille
Our History
In the 60’s we started out as a simple A frame building. It wasn’t even called the Legacy then. But it served up some of the best hot dogs, and Krisanne’s Famous Chili kept plenty of golfer’s content. Breakfast was only $.50 back then and we kept hungry Avon Lakers happy for the next 40 years.
Along came the year 2000 and that simple familiar A frame comes down and the new Legacy is born. For the next 15 years The Legacy Restaurant and Grille has shared space with the Sweetbriar Golf Course and has been the 2nd home to local residents in the surrounding communities.
In 2015 we recently completed a major renovation of our dining room by remodeling and adding a new 22 seat circular bar which enhances the wonderful view.
We are looking to create an even larger community of friends and family who can enjoy The Legacy Restaurant and Grille for years to come.
